The Grants Development Office assists Middlesex County College faculty, staff and administrators in identifying and procuring federal, state and county (and in some cases, private) funding opportunities that support the strategic plan and advance the mission of the college. These funds may be utilized to supplement existing academic, student and college resources, as well as to allow for innovative program development and research.

The Grant Submission process at MCC requires all grant proposals submitted to external funding sources to be transmitted through the MCC Grants Development Office. This process insures that all proposals meet minimum required standards regarding content, format, spelling, completeness, etc. In order to meet deadlines for electronic or hard copy applications, we ask that you submit final copies of your grant proposal to the Grants Development Office no later than fourteen working days before the deadline date.
Perkins Grant Departmental Budgets
Proposed Perkins Grant Department Budgets for the new academic year are transmitted through the MCC Grants Development Office. This process insures that all proposals meet minimum required standards regarding CIP Codes, approved CTE Programs, budget categories, etc.

If this is your first Perkins Departmental Budget and you are unfamiliar with the application process at Middlesex County College please contact the Director of Grants Development and schedule a time to meet to discuss the proposed budget and, if necessary, identify potential ideas for program funding. All Perkins Grant Budgets must go out through the Grants Development Office.
All human subject research and grant activities must comply with the federal and state laws for the “Protection of Human Subjects”. Middlesex County College has adopted procedures to establish an Institutional Review Board which is charged with reviewing any College research activities. All parties interested in conducting research involving human subjects at Middlesex County College must complete a Petition for IRB Review
