College Placement Testing, New Student Orientation, Group Advising

The College Placement Test (CPT) and English as a Second Language (ESL) tests are offered at the New Brunswick Center during enrollment periods. Testing is by appointment only as space is limited. Please allow 2 business days after submitting your college application for admission online to schedule an appointment. To schedule an appointment, call the New Brunswick Center at (732) 745-8866 or email infonb@middlesexcc.edu.

• Wednesdays between 10/4 – 12/13 – New Brunswick Center Room 206 – 6 PM – REGISTER NOW
• Saturdays between 10/14 – 12/9 – New Brunswick Center Room 207 – 9 AM – REGISTER NOW

New Student Orientation and
Group Advising are the NEXT STEPS…

Welcome to Middlesex County College! The next step in your enrollment process is to sign up for a Group Advising Session and New Student Orientation:

Sign up for a Group Advising Session. Group Advising provides an opportunity to:

• Meet with an Academic Advisor
• Register for Classes
• Receive your Registration Statement

Sign up for New Student Orientation. New Student Orientation provides an opportunity to:

• Learn about Academic Resources at MCC and the New Brunswick Center
• Meet Current Students that Attend MCC
• Meet with an Academic Advisor
• Register for Classes
• Receive your Registration Statement

Group Advising Sessions and New Student Orientation should only be scheduled if you:

• Have been accepted to Middlesex County College
• Completed your College Placement Exam or have submitted exempting SAT scores to Admissions (If applicable)
  Critical Reading: 540 or above and/or Mathematics: 530 or above

Group Advising Sessions are Not for:

• Transfer Students
• Project Connections
• Students that have been admitted to Health Technology Programs
