The mission of the MCC Nursing Program is to promote success through educational excellence and to graduate nurses who are able to provide empathetic, evidence-based nursing care to diverse populations.
The Nursing Degree prepares students for entry level positions in nursing and for taking the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). It has been approved by The New Jersey Council of Presidents, and accredited by the New Jersey Board of Nursing and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Please be advised that the Nursing Program is currently revising the Nursing Curriculum. The curriculum pre-requisites and co- requisites are not anticipated to change. The number of credits for each nursing course and the content included is under review and revision; therefore, what is included on the website may not ultimately be the curriculum plan in September 2018. 1. The program’s three-year mean for licensure exam pass rate will be at or above the Associate Degree Nursing Program mean for the same three year period.

2. Seventy percent (70%) of students will complete the nursing program within six semesters from enrollment in the first nursing course.
Class of 2016 – 74.4% of students completed the nursing program within six semesters from enrollment in the first nursing course.
3. Fifty percent (50%) of graduates will be employed as registered nurses within 12 months of graduation.
Survey of Graduates from Class of 2016 in May 2017 indicate that 64.7% of graduates were employed either full or part-time.
