Freshman Enrollment Instructions

In order to start classes, there are several steps you need to complete.

1. Enter your Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)

All applicants are required to provide a social security or individual taxpayer identification number prior to registering for classes. (Non-resident aliens are exempt from this requirement.) Learn more about social security/individual taxpayer identification numbers.

2. Apply for financial aid, if needed

The priority date to file is May 1st; however, it is recommended not to wait and to file as soon as possible.

3. Take the College Placement Test

College Placement Test Prep Material and Workshop Dates are available online. For possible exemption (based on your SAT scores or prior college credits) submit your scores/official transcripts to the Office of Admissions.

4. Sign up for Orientation

Using your CampusCruiser account, email Orientation@middlesexcc.edu for further directions. Please include your full name,student ID number (your CampusCruiser account and ID number can be found on your acceptance letter) and when you would like to start classes – fall semester, spring semester or summer semester.

5. Send final High School Transcript

Freshmen who were admitted with a mid-year grade report must request that their high school send a final high school transcript after graduation.

6. Pay your bill

Your bill must be paid by the due date indicated on the bottom of the schedule you receive at the time you enroll for classes or your schedule will be cancelled.

7. Purchase your books

Take your schedule to the bookstore or visit their web site to select your books.

8. Send immunization records
