Incoming students are evaluated in reading, writing and mathematical skills.\u00a0 A College Placement Test is given to determine skill levels in these areas.\u00a0 The results will be used, along with other information, to place you in the courses appropriate to your level of preparation. In some cases this may include non-college level developmental education courses.<\/p>\r\n

All first-time, full-time and part-time students have to sign up to attend Group Advising to register for classes. Transfer students can go directly to the Academic Advising Center in West Hall to be advised and to register for classes. In order to attend Group Advising, you need to:<\/p>\r\n\r\n
