Criminal Mischief - Crabiel Hall - 28 February 2017 10:40 am

Police were dispatched to the women’s restroom located on the first floor of Crabiel Hall on the report of graffiti in one of the stalls.  After documenting the graffiti, maintenance workers were able to remove it.  No further police action was taken. #I-2017 005688 – Closed C.


Medical - Physical Education Center - 23 February 2017 7:33 pm

Police responded to the Physical Education Center on the report of a student not feeling well. Upon arrival police spoke with the patient who stated she began feeling nauseous and light headed during her lifeguard class.  The patient was pale but alert and responsive. The patient refused further medical assistance. #I-2017-005218 – Closed C.


Crabiel Hall - Crabiel Hall - 23 February 2017 8:25 am

Police responded to Crabiel Hall on the report of a male who had cut himself on a pencil sharpener. The patient stated he was attempting to walk through a narrow space between a podium and a wall mounted pencil sharpener when his left arm bumped into a jagged edge of the sharpener resulting in a laceration. The wound was cleaned and wrapped. No further medical attention was needed. #I-2017-005169.


CDS - Billy Johnson Hall - 21 February 2017 11:14 pm

Police were dispatched to Billy Johnson Hall on the report of a found substance suspected to be CDS. Upon arrival, police met with Facilities’ staff personnel and were given a small plastic container with an unknown white powdery substance which was found behind a toilet seat in the men’s restroom. The unknown substance was stored in evidence for further investigation – #I-2017-004990 – Open.


Harassment - Otlowski Drive - 21 February 2017 9:06 pm

An individual reported to police that after getting into a minor dispute with an individual on Otlowski Drive, someone ran up behind her and grabbed her buttocks while walking near Center III.  The victim then instinctively turned and swung her elbow around striking the individual in the head. The suspect fled towards College Center.  The victim described the suspect as a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and was not sure if it was the same individual with whom she had the previous dispute.  There were no witnesses. This case is currently being investigated. #I-2017-004978 – Open.


Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East - 17 February 2017 11:37 am

The driver of Vehicle #1 was traveling south on College Dr. East when she struck Vehicle #2 which was making an illegal U turn in front of Vehicle #1. Vehicle #1 sustained visible damage to the front bumper and the passenger side headlight. Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the driver’s side front fender, a flat tire, as well as damage to the axel. Both vehicles were towed. No injuries were reported. #I-2017-004594 – Closed C.


Arrest - Lot #4 - 14 February 2017 8:50 pm

Police observed a motor vehicle speeding through Lot #4 and conducted a stop. When the driver opened the window, a strong smell of marijuana was detected. When asked to sign a consent to search form, the driver freely offered up a glass pipe that was located inside the driver’s door which was suspected to have burnt marijuana packed inside. A secondary search of the immediate area within arms length yielded negative results. The driver was charged with CDS Paraphernalia and later released on a summons. I-2017-004310 – Closed A.


Damaged Property - College Center - 14 February 2017 3:10 pm

Police responded to the College Center Café B for a report of property damage. Upon arrival, they found that a Starbucks drink had been thrown at one of the blue curtains. Police were able to make contact with the individual who threw the drink. The subject was referred to the Counseling Department. #I-2017-004287 – Closed C.

Subsequent to a random plate inquiry, an individual was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. The subject was processed and released. #I-2017-004186 – Closed A.


Simple Assault - West Hall Annex - 07 February 2017 2:50 pm

Police responded to the West Hall Annex on the report of a fight. The male victim sustained bruises to his face, head and knuckles. The suspect in this case had threatened to strike a female and the victim stepped in between pushing the suspect in the center of the chest at which point the fight escalated between the two males. After having initially fled the scene, the suspect followed up with police later in the day. #I-2017-003674 – Closed A.
