Criminal Mischief - Billy Johnson Hall - 31 March 2017 10:16 pm

Police responded to Billy Johnson Hall on the report of Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival they were met by Facilities personnel who stated that inside the men’s restroom there was a dent across the top section of the stall door. Currently there are no known suspects or witnesses. #I-2017-008566 – Closed B.


Medical - Johnson Learning Center - 30 March 2017 10:14 am

An individual requested to be transported to a local hospital. The patient stated she had a history of high blood pressure. EMS was called to evaluate and transport the patient. #I-2017-008447 – Closed C.


Dispute - Lot #2 - 30 March 2017 12:49 pm

Police were dispatched to Lot #2 on the report of two individuals involved in a dispute. Subsequently, it was determined that they had a minor argument and there were no signs or mention of a physical altercation. Both parties agreed to maintain their distance from each other. #I-2017-008454 – Closed C.


Medical - College Center - 29 March 2017 3:15 pm

Police were dispatched to the College Center on the report of an individual who felt faint. The patient stated she felt dizzy, was having chest pains and experiencing a headache.  The patient was evaluated by EMS and transported to a local hospital. #I-2017-008362 – Closed C.


Criminal Mischief - L'Hommedieu Hall - 28 March 2017 10:57 am

Police were called to L’Hommedieu Hall for a report of graffiti in the down stair’s men’s restroom. Writing in black marker appeared on the door of the handicap stall.  There are no witnesses or suspects at this time. #I-2017-008228 – Closed C.


Fire Alarm - Johnson Learning Center - 27 March 2017 11:06 am

Police responded to an activated fire alarm in the Johnson Learning Center and evacuated the building. The Fire Department arrived on scene and deactivated the alarm.  During a search of the building, it was discovered that the fire alarm near the bottom level stairwell was pulled by an unknown person and there were no signs of a fire.  #I-2017-008109 – Closed C.


Medical - Mill Gate - 27 March 2017 4:49 pm

Police responded to Mill Gate on the report of an individual experiencing an allergic reaction. The patient complained of chest pain and difficulty swallowing. Oxygen was administered and EMS transported the patient to a local hospital for further treatment. #I-2017-008127 – Closed C.

After conducting a motor vehicle stop for a non-functioning brake light, an individual was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. The individual was processed accordingly. #I-2017-007552 – Closed A.


Arrest - Crabiel Hall - 21 March 2017 6:11 pm

A bystander flagged down police claiming there was an intoxicated individual causing a public disturbance. The subject was removed from the IDRC class and stated that he had consumed alcohol prior to class. EMS was called to evaluate the subject who became increasingly disorderly. Due to the public alarm he was causing, the subject was placed under arrest and processed accordingly. #I-2017-007682 – Closed A.


Miscellaneous Assist - College Center - 20 March 2017 8:52 am

Police were dispatched to the HRI cooking lab on the report of suspicious activity. It was noticed that several cooking utensils had been removed from the drawers and scattered on a table.  Additionally, a spice rack had been rummaged through.  It was uncertain, at this time, if anything was missing from the lab. #I-2017-007400 – Closed C.


Soliciting - College Center - 20 March 2017 3:43 pm

A student notified police that several males wearing black shirts were soliciting information from individuals in College Center.  The three had previously been on campus soliciting without authorization.  Police advised the three that they must clear themselves with Student Life before taking any action while on college property. #I-2017-007436 – Closed C.


Criminal Mischief - Raritan Hall - 19 March 2017 12:23 am

While conducting a walk-through of Raritan Hall, police noticed writing on a wall in staircase 226. Maintenance personnel were notified; no further police action was necessary. #I-2017-007288 – Closed C.


Disruptive Individual - Physical Education Center - 17 March 2017 9:22 am

Police responded to the Physical Education Center over a dispute that had taken place between several students and two faculty members.  Police were able to question one of the students who had not left the area prior to police arrival. Police advised the faculty members that the incident would be documented and to contact MCCPD for any further disputes. #I-2017-007176 – Closed C.


Medical - L'Hommedieu Hall - 16 March 2017 8:32 am

Police were dispatched to L’Hommedieu Hall on the report of an individual who had popped out her shoulder while removing her jacket. The patient was able to pop it back into place before police arrived. The patient refused an ambulance and any medical treatment. #I-2017-007079 – Closed C.


Suspicious Individual - Edison Hall - 16 March 2017 3:30 pm

A female reported to police that a suspicious black male approached her inside Main Hall and then proceeded to follow her to Edison Hall trying to engage her in conversation. The victim was able to break free of the suspect and enter a classroom. A description of the suspect was provided to police; a search of the area yielded negative results. #I-2017-007100 – Open.


Medical - Johnson Learning Center - 15 March 2017 12:01 am

Police were dispatched to the Johnson Learning Center on the report that someone had fallen on ice.  The individual reported that as she was walking, she slipped on a patch of ice in front of JLC and landed on her buttocks. The patient complained of neck pain and, after initially refusing medical treatment, was later transported to a local hospital. #I-2017-007037 – Closed C.


Medical - Johnson Learning Center - 15 March 2017 12:00 am

Police responded to the Johnson Learning Center on the report of an individual who had fallen on ice.  Upon arrival, the complainant stated that while walking, she slipped on a patch of ice in front of the Johnson Learning Center and landed on her elbow.  A laceration was observed on the patient’s left elbow. The patient refused medical treatment at this time. #I-2017-007038 – Closed C.


Arrest - Lot #4 - 13 March 2017 8:20 am

A motor vehicle stop was conducted on an individual for a cell phone violation. It was determined that this individual also had an active warrant out of South Plainfield. The subject was taken into custody and processed accordingly. #I-2017-006934 – Closed A.


Arrest - College Drive East - 13 March 2017 6:19 pm

Police observed a driver using a hand held cell phone while operating his motor vehicle on College Drive East and proceeded to conduct a motor vehicle stop. It came to light that there was an outstanding warrant out for the driver. The subject was taken into custody and processed accordingly. #I-2017-006981 – Closed A.


Theft - Parking Lot #8 - 10 March 2017 4:04 pm

An individual reported to police that on 3/10/17, at approximately 12:00 pm, he went to lunch and left his Stihl leaf blower, Model 600, near parking lot 8 where he was working. Upon his return from lunch, the leaf blower was no longer there.  #I-2017-006725 – Open.


Theft - Crabiel Hall - 05 March 2017 9:40 pm

An individual reported to police that on Friday 3/3/17 at approximate 7:50 pm, he left his Samsung cell phone on a bench in front of Crabiel Hall. The victim tracked the phone to Carteret and left several text messages, but at some point the phone was then turned off. #I-2017-006348 – Closed B.


Medical - West Hall Annex - 02 March 2017 1:07 pm

Police were dispatched to West Hall Annex on the report of a female suffering from a mild allergic reaction. Police met with the patient who stated that she had an allergic reaction to a scented hand sanitizer and her throat was feeling narrow and itchy. The patient was able to self medication and refused further medical assistance. I-2017-005983 – Closed C.
