Fire Alarm - College Center - 28 September 2017 2:19 pm

College Center was evacuated due to a fire alarm activation caused by a faulty heat sensor.  The Fire Department was called to the scene and Facilities reset the fire panel. #I-2017-027031 – Closed C.


Theft - P.E. Center - 27 September 2017 12:13 pm

An individual reported to police that he left his black I-Phone 7 Plus inside the P.E. Center at approximately 9 am and when he returned two hours later it was missing. The victim reported that his debit card and driver’s license were with the phone. There are no witnesses or suspects at this time. #I-2017-026909 – Closed B.


Harassment - Instructional Resource Center - 27 September 2017 6:29 pm

An individual reported to police that she was being harassed by a female with whom she previously had filed a harassment report against.  The victim was advised as to how to make a complaint with the Edison Court system. Attempts to contact the suspect yielded negative results. #I-2017-026940 – Open.


Arrest - College Drive East - 27 September 2017 1:19 pm

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for careless driving, an individual was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. #I-2017-026911 – Closed A.


Soliciting - Gateway - 26 September 2017 12:08 pm

An individual reported to police that an unidentified Indian male approached him for money on several occasions.  After complying twice, the victim then reported the incident to police. This is an open investigation. #I-2017-026777 – Open.


Criminal Mischief - Lot #1 - 25 September 2017 4:49 pm

An individual reported to police that he parked his vehicle in Lot #1 at approximately 3:40 PM.  Upon his return, the owner discovered that the windshield had been cracked.  The owner did not know of anyone who would intentionally damage his vehicle and believed it to be an accident. #I-2017-026668 – Closed C.


Theft - College Center - 20 September 2017 10:47 am

After leaving a backpack on the table in College Center, an individual returned to find that someone had removed her Beats headphones. #I-2017-026188 – Closed C.

Citizen Assist - College Center - 19 September 2017 5:09 pm

An individual reported to police that he was approached by an Indian male, 5’11”, short dark hair, dark glasses and wearing a burgundy shirt with black pants, who requested money for transportation home. The victim gave the subject $20.00.  The subject was then observed approaching other individuals in the same manner. Attempts to locate the subject yielded negative results. #I-2017-026068 – Open.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 - 15 September 2017 11:19 am

Police observed a vehicle in the middle of the roadway, touching the front bumper of another vehicle. It was determined that the vehicle rolled out of its parking spot due to the emergency brake not engaging. I-2017-025621 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East - 12 September 2017 10:29 am

While approaching the curve on College Drive East, the driver of Vehicle #1 went off the road and hit a light pole causing extensive damage to the vehicle. The driver was issued a summons for careless driving. #I-2017-025182 – Closed c.


Arrest - Parking Lot #1 - 11 September 2017 2:32 pm

Police were dispatched to Lot #1 on the report of a motor vehicle accident. Vehicle #2 was exiting a parking spot and struck Vehicle #1 resulting in minor damage. While responding to the accident, police detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from Vehicle #1. After receiving consent to search the vehicle, the driver was taken into custody for possession of CDS. I-2017-025058 – Closed A.
