Welcome to the Fall 2017 Semester!
Starting in the Fall of 2017, MCC will be using a new Learning Management System, called Canvas. The college will be phasing out Campus Cruiser at the end of the fall semester. Some of your professors have opted to use Canvas, while others will be utilizing Campus Cruiser.
Please contact your professor to verify which of the two they plan to use for the Fall 2017 semester.
Your Campus Cruiser login credentials will not work in Canvas. To log in to Canvas, you will need to claim your MCC NetID. Here’s how…
Claim your MCC NetID
Middlesex County College is centralizing access to online and network services through a new student account called the MCC NetID. Your NetID will provide access to Office 365, the new learning management system (Canvas), and other services in the near future.
You may claim your NetID at https://netid.middlesexcc.edu. You will need your student ID number and birth date to claim your account, and you must be admitted to the College or a currently enrolled student.
Note: Your Campus Cruiser username and password will still be used to access Campus Cruiser for the fall 2017 semester.
A New E-mail Address (@my.middlesexcc.edu)
Your new NetID and Office 365 account come with a new email address. Your username will be the same as used to access Campus Cruiser, but the mail domain has been shortened to @my.middlesexcc.edu. For example, Jane Smith may have the e-mail address of janes4321@my.middlesexcc.edu.
Campus Cruiser email addresses (e.g., janes4321@portal.middlesexcc.edu) will remain active until December 31, 2017. Please be sure to forward any mail you wish to retain to your Office 365 account. We recommend you setup auto-forwarding of mail from your Campus Cruiser account to your Office 365 account and use your Office 365 as your primary address.
