The organization believes in education as a human right and helps the poorest of Oaxaca\u2019s children realize their dream of going to school.  Smith-Wenning visits annually, and recently collected heights and weights or many of these children in an effort to identify nutritional status<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer child advocate for the Young Center of Immigrant Children\u2019s Rights which promotes the best interests of unaccompanied immigrant children from all corners of the world. Child advocates accompany children through court proceedings, advocating for their best interest, ensuring their safety and well-being. According to the publisher&#8217;s description, \u201c<u>Hellgrammite<\/u>. . . is a mythological multi-legged creature, creeping and crawling with vivid nature poems, ink drawings, sensitive haiku and two remarkably crafted short stories.\u201d The book is available on Amazon.com<\/li>\n<li>Published poems in several journals:\n<ul class=\"desgin-ul-full\">\n<li>Scarecrow and Vous<em> etes tous Charlie<\/em>, <em>Psychological Perspectives<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><em>What Tried To Get In<\/em>, fiction journal <em>Quantum Fairy Tales<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><em>Merlin<\/em> and <em>Grouper<\/em>, poetry journal <em>This Broken Shore<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Several poems were published in <em>Middlesex: A Literary Journal.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Research on Carl Jung was the subject of a chapter of a new book about the interdisciplinary exchange between psychology and literature entitled <u>Remembering Dionysus <\/u>(Routledge 2016) by renowned Jungian scholar Susan Rowland.
