This is a researched based\u00a0hands-on learning approach that utilizes children\u2019s natural curiosity to\u00a0question the world around them. You will find no preset lesson plans but\u00a0instead lesson plans that are carefully planned by the children\u2019s interest.<\/p>\n<p>Each classroom has interest areas such as block area, art area, dramatic\u00a0play, sand and water, discovery, library and toys and games. These areas\u00a0have materials that are age appropriate for the children and scaffold their\u00a0learning abilities. Children&#8217;s work is not differentiated from play. Daily\u00a0activities include dramatic play, dance, creative art experiences,\u00a0manipulation and classification of materials, large and small muscle\u00a0exercise, and verbal interaction with both adults and peers to promote\u00a0language development.<\/p>\n<p>Children are given choice time to pick their area of\u00a0interest as well as meet in small groups with teacher to process a particular\u00a0objective of learning.
