Since graduation he has had the pleasure of working at Montclair State University, Seton Hall University and Rutgers University prior to landing at Middlesex County College.  He has a strong interest in assisting students in becoming successful in college.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"mailto:FStowe@middlesexcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\">Flora Stowe<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<strong>Assistant Director<\/strong><br \/>\nAdministrator, Academic, Personal, Career, &amp; Program Development<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Stowe earned her first degree in A.S. as a Business Administration major and continued to earn her subsequent degrees as an adult learner. Ms. Stowe earned a B.A. in Social Science, M.A. in Communication and M.S. in Career Development from the College of New Rochelle, NY. She brings years of experience as an Academic Administrator, holding such roles as Director of Career Services at the College of St. Elizabeth, NJ and Assistant Campus Director of the School of New Resources, NY.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMy mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style\u201d  &#8211; Maya Angelou<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"mailto:VVega@middlesexcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\">Victor Vega, Ph.D.<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<strong>Counselor\/Professor<\/strong><br \/>\nPersonal, Academic, Career &amp; Bilingual (Spanish) Counseling<br \/>\nAdjunct Professor of African American Studies, Psychology &amp; Education<\/p>\n<p>Tenured Counseling Professor and adjunct professor of African American Studies, Dr. Vega received a Ph.D. and Masters  graduate degrees from Temple University, Masters degree Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University. Professor Vega uses theories and experiences in Human Development and Africana\/Latino studies to advance practical, technical and emancipatory knowledge and development. He applies his Spanish, English and Medu Netjer tri-lingual acumen as intellectual and cultural tools in the study, teaching and development of different cultures.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"mailto:hpatel@middlesexcc.edu\">Hema Patel<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<strong>Student Development Specialist<\/strong><br \/>\nAcademic, Personal, Career, and Financial Aid Counseling<br \/>\nFirst-year Students &amp; Students in Academic Difficulty<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Patel graduated from Lehigh University with a double major in Psychology and Journalism. She earned a M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Lehigh and a M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Prior to MCC, Ms. Patel served as a Developmental Specialist for the Douglass College EOF program and as a Senior Counselor and Assistant Director for the School of Arts and Sciences EOF program at Rutgers.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"mailto:omaxwell@middlesexcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\">Olivia Maxwell<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<strong>EOF Assistant <\/strong><br \/>\nReceptionist &amp; Administrative Assistance<\/p>\n<p>EOF Assistant, Ms. Olivia Maxwell achieved certification in business management and cosmetology from the Morris County Vocational Technical school in 1996. Ms. Maxwell is at the front desk of the office  assisting with program questions, telephone calls and reception services. She helps students with office policies, counseling appointments and maintains communication between students, the counseling faculty and the office. Olivia is presently pursuing an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"mailto:lreyes@middlesexcc.edu\" target=\"_blank\">Luis Reyes<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<strong>Senior EOF Assistant <\/strong><br \/>\nFinancial Aid Documentation &amp; Bilingual (Spanish) Assistance<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Luis Reyes has worked for Middlesex County College for over 17 years. He worked for the Admissions Office for 10 years and a Senior EOF Administrative Assistant for the Educational Opportunity Fund Program since 2007. Mr. Reyes assists students with their application into the EOF program and helps them understand the benefits of the program. He specializes in processing incoming student applications and documentations.
