Admission is free but reservations are required. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/an-evening-with-junot-diaz-tickets-27704324380\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here\u00a0to RSVP<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled that Junot Diaz will be here as a keynote speaker during our celebration of Hispanic Heritage,\u201d said Marla Brinson, dean of student affairs. \u201cThis is a wonderful opportunity for our students to hear from such a critically acclaimed author.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. D\u00edaz is the author of \u201cThe Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao,\u201d which won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award; \u201cDrown\u201d; and \u201cThis Is How You Lose Her,\u201d a New York Times bestseller and National Book Award finalist.<\/p>\n<p>He was also awarded a MacArthur \u201cGenius\u201d Fellowship, PEN\/Malamud Award, Dayton Literary Peace Prize, Guggenheim Fellowship, and PEN\/O. Henry Award. A graduate of Rutgers, Mr. D\u00edaz is currently the fiction editor at \u201cBoston Review\u201d and the Rudge and Nancy Allen Professor of Writing at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
