EMPOWER is a mentoring program for Latino youth that encourages them to work hard and go on to college. The money will be used for scholarships for the group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMagyar Bank is one of our best community partners, a strong supporter since the beginning of the program,\u201d said Evelyn Rosa, director of the New Brunswick Center. \u201cOne of its executives, Carmen Oshiro, is on the EMPOWER advisory board and helps mentor students.
