The mission of the MCC Nursing Program is to promote success through educational excellence and to graduate nurses who are able to provide empathetic, evidence-based nursing care to diverse populations.<\/p>\n

The Nursing Degree prepares students for entry level positions in nursing and for taking the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). It has been approved by The New Jersey Council of Presidents, and accredited by the New Jersey Board of Nursing and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).<\/p>\n

To all prospective students:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please be advised that the Nursing Program is currently revising the Nursing Curriculum. The curriculum pre-requisites and co- requisites are not anticipated to change. The number of credits for each nursing course and the content included is under review and revision; therefore, what is included on the website may not ultimately be the curriculum plan in September 2018. 3.<\/strong> Fifty percent (50%) of graduates will be employed as registered nurses within 12 months of graduation.<\/p>\n
