The Middlesex County College Tutoring Center provides free academic support for currently enrolled Middlesex County College students on a drop-in basis. Not all courses are tutored on a daily basis. Please see the schedule posted in the Tutoring Center.
The Center was designed to provide a friendly, non-judgmental environment that offers academic support in most subjects, including but not limited to the list below.
If you are interested in applying for a position to become a tutor (paid or volunteer), you will need to fill out the application, course checklist, and availability form. To be eligible, you must have completed 15 college credits with a GPA of 3.0 or better and be willing to commit to 2 semesters
Current tutors may use the availability form to fill out an original schedule request. Schedule changes must be submitted on the schedule change request form and must be approved before the changes occur. If you need to change the courses you are willing to tutor (add or remove courses from your current list), please fill out and return a new course checklist.
Forms may be returned in person at the Tutoring Center in JLC 240 or by email at SOsinski-Rea@middlesexcc.edu.
