The Learning Center is a state-of-the-art facility that provides online supplemental instruction and personal tutoring in developmental mathematics, reading, and English. The Learning Center is located adjacent to the library in the Instructional Resource Center 241.<\/p>\n

The mission of the Learning Center is to provide academic support to students and encourage students to become efficient, confident, and independent learners. It assists students in evaluating their academic strengths and weaknesses and helps them develop the requisite skills needed to achieve their academic, career, and personal goals.<\/p>\n

When classes are in session, tutoring for students in RDG 009 and 011, ENG 009, 010, 121, and 122, and all mathematics developmental education courses is available in the Johnson Commons Learning Center (located in IR 241) on a drop-in basis; no appointment is necessary.<\/p>\n

Tutoring for all courses not listed here is provided by the Tutoring Center, located in JLC 240.
