The Nursing Department at Middlesex County College is proud to host the Delta Omicron Chapter of Alpha Delta Nu (ADN). Alpha Delta Nu is the National Honor Society for Associate Degree Nursing Students. It functions under the auspices of OADN, which is the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing.
The objective of the OADN Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society shall be to recognize the academic excellence of students in the study of Associate Degree Nursing. The society shall encourage the pursuit of advance degrees in the profession of nursing as well as continuing education as a life-long professional responsibility. The Delta Omicron chapter of ADN is open to second year nursing students, by invitation only. In order to be considered for the honor society, the student must:
Student transcripts are evaluated at the completion of the first year of the nursing program; candidates will be notified by mail of their eligibility.
Students who accept the invitation to join the organization will participate in a community activity as well as maintain the above criteria in order to be eligible for induction. An induction ceremony will be held during the spring semester of the second year.
