MCC guard Bryant Webb scored his 1000th career point in a game against Atlantic Cape Community College February 18. The game was stopped and he was presented with a ceremonial basketball; a banner was given to him at a home game three days later. He joins Quorea Pearyer of the MCC women’s team in the 1000 point club. It is believed that they are the first male/female tandem to break 1000 points in the same year at two-year colleges
in the nation.
